Here in Minnesota, it’s finally (consistently) starting to feel like spring. Nature is starting to perk up. It’s GROWING season again. And I’m not just talking about flowers, gardens, crops and fishing tales…
May 2-6 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Perfect timing, really. The week falls at a time of year when we’re reminded how much can grow, including our minds. Those who teach us (parents, daycare providers, teachers, college faculty, etc.) have such important jobs. If you haven’t already, take a little time to say “thank you” this week.
On the flip side, if you have a passion for teaching and are looking to advance your career, look to Distance Minnesota for degree options, such as:
- Early Childhood & Paraprofessional AS from Northland Community and Technical College
- Elementary Education BS from Bemidji State University
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant AAS from Alexandria Technical and Community College
It takes a special kind of person to commit their life to working with children. From the staff here at Distance Minnesota to all of you with a passion for teaching, THANK YOU FOR HELPING US GROW!
